Two people have died in an accident at queen way flyover this morning.

The accident involved a super custom car that lost control and hit a tree killing two of its occupants on spot.

Some of the eyewitnesses we spoke to say that the driver of the super custom was trying to save a pedestrian who was crossing the road and lost control.

However Katwe police Chief Henry Sisiri attributes the accident to a tyre burst.

He says one of the deceased persons was heading to Entebbe airport and over speeding caused the accident

The two bodies have been taken to Mulago hospital for postmortem and the injured is also receiving treatment at the same hospital.
