The Uganda Red Cross Society is weighing options of disposing off some of its assets to clear debts.

The body is currently embroiled in a financial crisis caused by financial mismanagement and corruption by some of its leaders.

This resulted into some donor partners to suspend financial support to the organization.

The interim chairman Stephen Tashobya says they are exploring all avenues to revamp the society’s economic status.
