The FUFA Women Super League Champions Lady Doves continued their fine start to the CAF women champions’ league zonal qualifiers after earning a vital point against Tanzania’s Simba queens.

Lady doves played a goalless draw with Simba queens despite finishing the game with ten women after Sarah Nakuye received marching orders following a second bookable offense.

Lady Doves had outclassed Djibouti’s FAD FC 5-0 in their opening fixture.

The result put lady doves at the top of group A table on goal difference with four points while Simba queens sit second.

Burundi’s PVC beat FAD FC 2-1 in the first game played yesterday afternoon and PVC is third in the group.

Lady doves will conclude their group games against PVC on Friday at Nyayo stadium.
