UNATU pins CAOs on delayed salaries

The Uganda National Teachers’ Union has tasked Chief Administrative Officers to avail lists of teachers forwarded to public services.

This follows contradicting statements from public service and CAO’s regarding the final lists of teachers meant to receive salaries.

Unatu Secretary General James Tweheyo says these contradictions have resulted into teachers from 35 districts including Rakai and Soroti missing salaries for several months.
