Police procures 80 new vehicles ahead of 2016 general elections
The Uganda police has procured 80 new vehicles in abides to augment the National security head of the 2016 general elections.
The procured vehicle includes 25 fancy Prados meant for directors, 30 double cabins for management of operations while the remaining 25 are single cabins which are to be use as patrols.
The police spokesperson Fred Enanga said that the motive of buying these vehicles is to ease movement of police as well as enhancing response in case of emergency.
He explained that these are to be distributed in all parts of Uganda.
