Uganda Cranes Cecafa

It was another disturbing loss for Uganda.

Three second-half goals were scored at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola as hosts Zambia came from behind to beat Uganda 2-1 in an international friendly played last evening.

First-half substitute Evans Kangwa grabbed a brace for the Chipolopolo after Uganda’s second-half substitute Hamis Kiiza had given the Cranes a 51st minute lead.

The two teams used the game as part of their preparations for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Uganda’s 2015 campaign starts with preliminaries in May while the former African champions, Zambia, kick off their campaign in the group stage in September.

Uganda are yet to know their opponents for the 2015 Afcon preliminary qualifiers with the draws set for next month. –
