The Management of Nakivubo stadium is yet to complete payment of the over Sh.800 million debt to the Uganda Revenue Authority.
The operations of the stadium were halted last year over accumulated tax arrears but resumed after negotiations between the two parties to have debt settled in installments.
The stadium’s Financial Controller Hajjat Minsa Kabanda however says they still have more time and are confident they will beat the deadline set for next year.
