Uganda cranes technical team led by Fred Muhumuza and Morley Byekwaso has released a provisional squad for the Africa Nations championship competition that kicks off in August.
The squad that consists of 41 players will kick off preparations on Monday June 23 2025 at Luzira prisons grounds.
It features notable inclusions like Yunusu sentamu from Vipers who has returned to the National team after being out for some time due to personal reasons.
Others include Herbert Achaya from Express, BUL’s Nicholas Mwere,Marvin Young man from Vipers, and Villa’s Aslam Ssemakula.
Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania will co-host the CHAN competitions from August 2-30, 2025.
Tanzania’s Benjamin Mkapa stadium will host the opening game, Kenyans Kasarani will have the final played there while Uganda’s Namboole stadium will host the third place playoff match.
