Col. Oula sworn in replacing Gen Sejusa
Col Innocent Oula has been sworn in as army representative to parliament replacing Renegade General David Sejjusa.
In November last year, Parliament adopted a report by the committee on rules, privileges and discipline that saw Sejusa lose his parliamentary seat.
Col Oula beat Maj Kakuru Katto, Brig Jacob Musajawaza, Gen Andrew Gutti and Maj Gen Joram Mugume to take up the seat.
He has been welcomed by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament Jacob Oulanya who is chairing the first session after a two-month recess.
Col Oula, a graduate of Kenya National Defence College was the Chief of Staff AMISOM before he came back to become the 4th Division Commander.
