Court To Access Cop Killer

Two Court Assessors will today give their opinion in a case in which a 30 year old man is accused of murdering a police officer.

The assessors advise Court on whether to convict or acquit a suspect basing on the evidence adduced by prosecution witnesses.

Edson Wako is accused of murdering AIP John Michael Ariong in 2012 in Kampala but he refused to defend himself on the said allegations.

The incident happened at Gaza land building at Mini price along Ben Kiwanuka Street during the 2012 walk to work riots that rocked Kampala.

The case is before High Court judge Elizabeth Alividza.
