The electoral commission has warned all aspiring candidates against early campaigns.

This follows arrest of some youths reported to be supporters of former premier Amama Mbabazi distributing his campaign posters.

Mbabazi on Monday announced his presidential bid, ending months of speculation over his political ambitions.

Speaking to Kfm the Electoral commission’s public relations manager Jotham Taremwa said no one is supposed to campaign before the set time, calling on all individuals aspiring for any post to respect the law.
