As Uganda commemorates the World Aids day, Members of Parliament are asking government to increase the supply of Anti Retro Viral drugs to boost HIV treatment programs.

Law makers including Minyana Woman MP Judith Nabakooba, Luwero Woman Lillian Nakate and Kumaama Nsamba of Bbaale County in Kayunga district say a lot needs to be done to save Ugandans from the scourge.

The MPs also want government undertake rigorous sensitization programs, taking advantage of the information age and digital technology to increase awareness in far to reach areas.

This comes amid reports that Uganda’s is now losing the battle against HIV with increased new infections among the different age groups.
