Soroti City will be aiming to maintain their unbeaten run in the Women’s T20 League when they face Tornado in a double-header today at the Lake Side Oval in Entebbe.

The defending champions top Group A with maximum points and welcome back four players from national duty, including Captain Janet Mbabazi.

Elsewhere in Group A, Wanderers take on struggling Pioneer at the Serenity Oval in Kamengo – the first women’s game to be played at that venue.

Wanderers will be banking on captain Naome Kayongo’s form to bounce back from last weekend’s defeats to Soroti.

Over in Group B, unbeaten Olila faced second-placed Mukono Development at the GM Sugar Oval. Olila have six wins in six games and also welcome back national team stars Phionah Kulume and Sarah Akiteng.

Meanwhile, at the Jinja SS Oval, JACC played Africa in a bottom-of-the-table clash. Africa are still chasing their first win of the season, having lost all four of their games so far.
