Trouble between Dr. Nyanzi and the first Lady has been brewing since she told a parliamentary committee early this year that there was no money for pads due to competing priorities.

Now in a later addressed to Makerere University Vice Chancellor, Bruce Kabaasa the chairman appointments board states that in total disregard of the aforementioned warning, Dr Nyanzi has continued to use social media to violate Section 5.7.7 of the university Human Resources Manual 2009.

He adds that it is regrettable that Dr Nyanzi has made it a habit to insult, dehumanize and castigate the line minister of education and sports under whose docket Makerere University falls.

The letter thus directs the Vice Chancellor to suspend Dr Nyanzi from the university with immediate effect.

It is also copied to the Director of Human Resources and the Ag Director Legal Affairs, requiring them to prepare for disciplinary proceedings for this case.
