MP Drito recovering from fatal accident

The Madi-Okolo County MP Martin Drito was discharged from Nakasero Hospital last evening, where he was admitted Friday night after a fatal accident.

Drito who was unconscious for about 18 hours, spent 3 days at the intensive care unit due to injuries he suffered on his head and chest during the accident.

Drito who could only speak softly on his phone this morning said he is still feeling dizzy and suffers chest pain but was told by doctors that he is now out of danger.

The MP knocked a mango tree around Naguru hills on Friday night at 11pm when he was driving home.

He was saved by kind passersby who found him unconscious and called the AAR ambulance after getting his medical insurance card.
