The Supreme Court today continues with hearing of the presidential election petition in which former candidate Amama Mbabazi is contesting Yoweri Museveni’s victory.

The court will hear submissions from the second respondent, the Electoral Commission and from the Attorney General tomorrow.

Yesterday lawyers representing Museveni asked court to dismiss Mbabazi’s petition for lack of credible evidence to back it up.

They claimed the former premier’s case was built on hope.

The hearing is expected to end tomorrow and a ruling delivered by March 31st.
