This has been revealed by the deputy director Uganda Media center Col Shaban Bantariza while briefing journalists about cabinet resolutions agreed upon by the executive officials yesterday.

Bantariza says it has been discovered with great concern that some of the street children are employees of government officials and citizens in the country.

He adds that these children are not only a problem to travelers on the streets but also have continuously given Uganda a bad image.

Bantariza meanwhile says home settlements shall be established for these children and others where possible be reunited with their families.

According to the gender mutiny over 200 street children are in Kampala majority of who are from Matany and Bokora in Moroto district and Karamoja.
