This comes at a time, reports have been making rounds on social media calling upon Ugandans to stay home between February 3rd to 7th for their own safety as some people will peacefully lead protests against Museveni’s victory.

According to the propaganda, this will be an alleged stay at home peaceful protest.

However ICT and national guidance Minister Judith Nabakooba warns that the government has received the intelligence information about some people who are reportedly intimidating taxi drivers and the public against being on the road and places of work during the said days.

She has warned that no one will be allowed to disrupt the peace and safety of Ugandans and those involved will be arrested by security.
