The Minister of Education Hon Janet Kataha has urged graduates of Kyambogo university to desist from giving space to things that distract them from achieving their goals and developing of their country.
Addressing the congregation at the 13th graduation ceremony at the university, Kataha said the university has equipped them with the necessary knowledge and skills ushering them into the world of labour hence it is their turn to invest more in achieving their own goals and developing their communities respectively.
She noted that they should always listen more,work hard and talk less alongside praying and trusting in God to enable them go through this world of wildness.
She however commended the university administration for promoting peace and harmony at the university that has enabled students to study and complete on time.
She also urged the university to put in place systems to ensure that all the teachers that the university and affiliated colleges produces posses right skills to pass on the young people.
