Man commits suicide after testing HIV positive

A 40-year  old man has committed suicide in Mayuge for allegedly testing positive for HIV.

The deceased has been identified as a resident in Malongo sub-county in Mayuge.

The area LC1 Chairman  Robert Maibi said the deceased was found hanging on a tree behind his house.

He said the deceased left behind six children and a wife.

The wife  of the deceased said  she did not get any complaint of illness from the husband the previous days  but sources close to him told her that he had tested positive for HIV.
