The Ministry of Internal Affairs should explain why they are leaving out people with disabilities and pregnant women while giving out jobs at the ministry.

The MP (Member of Parliament) for people with disabilities Eastern region, Grace Asamo noted that the ministry has put in their interviews for the immigration officials the marathon element and this has left out people with disabilities.

She referred to the matter as discrimination which is unacceptable in the laws governing the country.

She said that the jobs advertised were desk jobs and therefore all the people should have been treated in the same way.
