He is expected to appear before the committee today.

Yesterday, this committee directed Nalongo Estates to pave the way for National Water and Sewerage Corporation to allow swift construction of a drainage channel and upgrade of water pipes.

According to the committee chairperson Abdul Katuntu, the meeting with the police chief is meant to discuss modalities of securing workers who will be constructing this sewage system.

Earlier National Water and Sewerage Corporation workers told the committee that they were facing stiff resistance from the Estate owners who reportedly use goons to block them.
