Mukono municipal council  to destroy dilapidated buildings

The Mukono Municipal council authority has threatened to destroy the dilapidated commercial buildings in the area to allow the business community operate in a safe environment.

The Deputy town clerk Mukono Municipal council Nanyonga Sseruwangi says the municipal council has issued out circulars asking the owners of buildings to comply.

Nanyonga made the remarks, while receiving a donation of paint from the managing director of Kansai Plascon-Uganda which will help to paint the Mukono police station, because the Municipal’s order will also affect the government buildings which are dilapidated.

She asked the residents to comply with immediate effect.
