Mukono Municipality MP, Betty Nambooze is expected to table a motion seeking leave of parliament to introduce a Private member’s bill for the enactment of the “Alcoholic Drinks Control Act” 2016.

The bill aims at harmonising all alcohol related laws into only one that would slap tougher sanctions on alcohol consumption and abuse.
