Led by Isaac Musumba, Godfrey Dhamuzungu and John Bagoole, the MPs have told a news conference that they pledge their total support for Kadaga, denying accusations that they are against her.

This comes days after another group of MPs from Buganda led by Godfrey Kiwanda formed a task force to canvass for support for Deputy Speaker Jacob Oulanya who is vying for the same post.

Addressing a news conference yesterday, the NRM Electoral Commission Chairman Tanga Odoi warned against campaigning before the party primaries be conducted on May 5th

Meanwhile on Monday, President Museveni warned Kadaga and Oulanyah not to drag his name into the race that has been marred by accusations and counter-accusations.
