The police are planning to disrupt any planned activities by the opposition.

The commander of operations Andrew Felix Kaweesi says they have received intelligence information that opposition political activists under the group “citizens reform now”, led by former FDC leader Dr. Kiiza Besigye and Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago are planning several activities intended to disrupt peace in Kampala under the guise of advocating for reforms.

He has accused the group of recruiting commercial sex workers to strip naked whenever police officers want to arrest them.
