President cautions land lords ‘you have no right to evict occupants.

President Museveni has sounded a caution against any illegal land evictions.

Speaking at the 28th heroes’ day celebrations in Zirobwe,Luwero district, President Museveni said no land lord has a right to evict a bonafide occupant noting that they are protected by the law.

He also said no one should force anyone to get a land title, noting that it should be done by choice.

Meanwhile he encouraged the residents to embrace commercial farming arguing that it will create jobs in addition to manufacturing.

President Museveni hailed residents of Luwero triangle area for the support to the liberation struggle in which he says 300,000 people were lost.

He has pledged to set up a fruit factory in the area
