The police have issued traffic guidelines ahead of the Kampala Capital City Authority festival slated for this Sunday.

Addressing journalists at the Central Police Station the commander traffic Kampala metropolitan Israel Wambeshyo says all roads leading to Kampala road will be diverted and closed at midnight on Saturday.

Wambeshyo says traffic flow will be diverted from the Jinja road traffic lights up to KPC Watoto Church.

Meanwhile the spokesperson of KCCA Peter Kauju says the Shs 1.1bn festival is meant to celebrate Uganda, its cultural diversity and worm hospitality.
