The funds were meant for health, Education and other related community activities.

According to a source from the fund, they are not pleased with the level of corruption ongoing in the district.

Abim’s resident district Commissioner Ashaka Mpimbaza has confirming the suspension describing it as a big blow adding that it a shame to see the funds have not been accounted for.

According to Mpimbaza, the fund has been sending shs 300M to the district every month.

Efforts to reach The UNICEF’s zonal officer in Moroto Rebecca Kwagala have since been futile.
