This follows the endless insecurity blamed on the cattle rustlers from within Karamoja sub region, South Sudan and Turkana in Kenya which has resulted into several people losing their lives and property while hundreds have been displaced due to the increased attacks.

DP’s whip in parliament, Richard Lumu notes that UPDF and Police should accept that their dealing with organized criminals under the bracket of cattle rustlers hence should allow para militia groups like the Arrow boys be reinstated to boost the security in the region.

Meanwhile he says the government has just chosen to be negligent because UPDF has the capacity to defeat these ill-equipped worriers based on its historical fights unless there is connivance between some officers and the worriers.
