The National Resistance Movement (NRM) secretariat has extended an invitation former premier Amama Mbabazi to its national delegate’s conference.
Over 3000 party members will converge at Mandela National stadium Namboole from 30th October -2nd November to elect their national leaders and endorse president Museveni as the party’s flag bearer in the 2016 presidential race.
The deputy NRM Secretary General Richard Twodong says Mbabazi is still a Member of Parliament representing NRM views and his wife Jacqueline Mbabazi is still the Women League leader and therefore both are eligible to attend.
Meanwhile the party has also invited opposition political parties under the Inter Party Organisations Dialogue (IPOD) to the conference.
