Two witnesses have this afternoon appeared before Makindye General Court martial pinning three people including a UPDF Sargent for stealing Airtel Airtime worth 100million and 30 Million cash from copper complex in Kampala on 5th January 2013.

The three persons Sgt Acheda William, Kasiita Moses and Kabugo Henry are facing charges of Aggravated robbery before the General Court Martial sitting in Makindye and denied it.

However, according to Sgt Acheda’s  statement  he accepts having been used by colleagues to put on gun point all the people who were at the shop in cooper complex were the money was robbed and later was driven back to Luzira where he was a guard in one of the homes.

The Airtime and Money were stolen from Mukisa Eddy’s shop located at Cooper Complex in Kampala.

The General Court Martial chairman Lt Gen Andrew Gutti has adjourned the hearing of this matter to 20th December 2016.
