Hundreds of tea farmers in Kigezi have threatened to strike over nonpayment of over Sh7bn by government under the National Agricultural Advisory Services (NAADs) program.

The farmers claim they supplied about 16 million seedlings worth Shs7.2bn to government in March last year but have never been paid.
