IGP – Relations between Police & other sister security organs have improved

David Kugonza | April 23, 2018

By Moses Kyeyune.

Relations between the Police and other sister security organs have greatly, improved, according to the Inspector General of police Martin Okoth Ochola.

Ochola says that the institutions have gained strong brotherhood ties and that they hold daily joint intelligence meetings towards cracking down on crime.

Before his sacking early this year, former Police Chief, Gen Kale Kayihura decried the bitter relations between the police force and other security organs.

At the time, there were a series of counter accusations that climaxed into major changes in the police leadership.
