Six people have perished in an accident which has occurred this afternoon along the Mubende-Mityana road.
The accident occurred in Nakasozi village after a truck laden with vegetables overturned.
According to the OC traffic Mubende district Alex Muramuzi, the truck registration number UAM 183Y failed to go up the hill because it was overloaded, forcing it to descend and overturn.
The 11 traders on board were from Fort Portal heading to Kibuli in Kampala.
The dead and the injured have been rushed to Mubende and Mityana hospitals.
