The president says that SADC, the African Union and the International Committee for the Great Lakes Region will soon meet to discuss the matter.

He castigated the recent M23 fighting calling upon the warring parties to harness the similarities in the region like that of culture and the dialects to forge peace.

The president said this at the Joint Summit by African leaders chaired by Malawian president and SADC chairperson, Joyce Banda.

President Museveni says the lack of a legitimately elected government since 1961, poor internal management coupled with the existence of an errant army have created room for endless war in the country.
