Government through the ministry of energy and technology is set to distribute about 2 million energy saving bulbs to Ugandans in rural areas
Speaking during the renewable energy and sustainable development media dialogue at Innovation village offices in Ntinda, an official from the ministry of energy Maclian Ssenyonga, said that the bulbs shall be distributed at no cost.
Ssenyonga says this will save the beneficiaries from the burden of high power prices.
