The police have returned to the crime scene at Kiwatule where Senior Principal State Attorney Joan Kagezi was shot dead last night.
Kagezi was shot by unknown people as she stopped by a grocery shop in what the police says was a planned assassination.
Police spokesperson for Kampala Metropolitan Patrick Onyango says they want to reconstruct the crime scene.
Kagezi was driving home in a car Reg. No UG 0586J when two people riding on a motorcycle shot her dead and took off.
Kagezi had been prosecuting a number of high profile cases including the July 2010 bomb suspects that was slated for hearing today.
However, Luzira Prison authorities have received orders not to take the terror suspects to the High Court today.
The 2010 July 11th bomb suspects were this morning expected to be produced in court for further cross examination of the first prosecution witness.
However, Prisons spokesperson Frank Baine says the prisons officer in charge Wilson Magomu is set to meet with court officials to discuss the matter.
