The Lord Mayor of Kampala, Erias Lukwago has threatened to move a council resolution to have the Minister of Kampala, Betty Kamya punished.

Lukwago faults Kamya on four accounts; Passing off as the head of Kampala yet the head is supposed to be the Lord Mayor, Governing KCCA  by decree where she issues orders and proclamations out of her own will,.

He also faults her for using the institution as a campaign tool for Museveni’s Kisanja Hakuna Mucheezo and her failure to put in place necessary organs for KCCA like the Metropolitan Physical Planning Authority.

He says an elaborative process and measures to bring Kamya to order have started adding that if members of the authority and business council agree to some of the terms, Kamya will be sanctioned.

This is not the first time the two leaders are clashing over issues of leadership and who should rule Kampala.
