Kajubi was in 2012 convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment after he was  found guilty of murdering a 12 year old boy;  Joseph Kasirye through practices of ritual  sacrifice.

Five justices had been listed to hear Kajubi’s appeal and these were the Chief Justice Bart Katureebe, Stella Arach  Amoko , RubbyOpioAweri, Lillian Tibatemwa and Paul Mugamba.

However the Chief justice Katureebe is indisposed and therefore the panel was incomplete.

Consequently Kajubi and his lawyer Anthony Wameeli have been informed by the court’s registry that a new hearing date will be communicated to them.
