President Yoweri Museveni and his visiting Sudanese counterpart Omar Al Bashir have underscored the need to revitalize the Implementation of the Agreement on Resolution of conflict in South Sudan.
This was during bilateral talks held at statehouse yesterday in which the two heads of state exchanged views on regional security among other issues.
In a joint statement read by the minister of state for International Cooperation Henry Okello Oryem, the two leaders also committed to intensifying efforts within the available frameworks to realize a lasting political solution in South Sudan.
Meanwhile heads of state called on the business communities to take advantage of the US lifting of trade and economic sanctions off Sudan.
The heads of state also witnessed signing of an MOU on cooperation in higher education between the two countries
