COVID 19 vaccines expected to arrive this Friday

The 2nd Deputy Mufti of Uganda Shk. Ali Muhammad Waiswa says this is aimed at improving Islamic education in the country.

Sheikh Waiswa says the supreme council is already in the process of developing a National Islamic Educations curriculum for secondary schools.

The curriculum, he says represents years of research, field-testing and evaluation by a technical team with support from the Uganda Muslim Youth Development Forum.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner for Private Schools in the ministry of Education Ismail Mulindwa has expressed the Ministry’s support for the Islamic education curriculum and that it is the process of streamlining the Muslim schools ownership.
