Drama ensued at the Gulu Grade One Magistrate’s Court after a woman sued her son-in-law for allegedly breaking into her house and stealing beans.

27 year old Smart Soft Ogenrwot appeared before Grade One Magistrate Yunus Ndiwala and was charged with theft.

Prosecution alleges that on May18th 2017, while at Layik in Bungatira Sub County, Gulu district, the suspect broke into Rita Luwar’s house and stole beans that were in the store worth about Shs 700,000.

Ogenrwot however denied the allegation saying his mother-in-law was framing him.

The case is adjourned to August 4th when the parties return for further hearing of the case.
