Parliament has slapped a ban on travel for all ministers whose sector budget reports have not been presented before the August House.
The Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga gave the directive this afternoon following a meeting with President Yoweri Museveni, over delays in meeting the August 31st deadline to appropriate the budget.
Kadaga says ministers and chairpersons have been put on notice to ensure that the budget is passed by the end of next week.
Less than 7 committees have so far presented their budget reports, among them the committees on Gender, Defence, Presidential Affairs and Trade.
