UPDF assures Ugandans “lord’s Resistance Army rebels will never resurrect”

The Uganda people’s defense forces has assured Ugandans that the lord’s Resistance Army rebels will never resurrect to cause insurgency in northern Uganda despite of its existence.

The comment followed a concern raised by the Member of Parliament for Gulu municipality Leandro Komakech in parliamentary committee on Human rights saying that people in northern Uganda worried about the likely return of these rebels

Now while responding to the matter, the chief of Defense forces General Edward Katumba Wamala said that no Ugandans should think of the return of Joseph konyi because of despite the prevailing peace, security is still tight
