URA closes Parambot Breweries

The Uganda Revenue Authority has this morning swung into action against tax defaulters, closing Parambot Breweries.

The beer manufacturing company located in Kitetika in Gayaza has accumulated tax arrears amounting to Shs 2.6bn.

The enforcement team led by Allan Ssempebwa says the company has been adamant despite several notices and reminders to pay up.
