NUP dominates Nakawa LC5 seats

This is after the vendors refused to sign tenancy agreements for them to occupy the market.

A meeting convened this morning has now resolved that the market opens on the 22nd  of this month.

This has been done to give room to possible amendments in the agreements including reducing the daily dues charged on the vendors.

KCCA director community development, Harriet Mudondo says they will continue to study complaints raised and come up with solutions.

The meeting was attended by officials from the ministry of local government, KCCA, and representatives of vendors.
