The Forum for Democratic Change plans to hold a series of rallies in Kampala ahead of the Independence Day celebrations in October.

According to the party spokesperson Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda, they plan to hold a public lecture on Uganda’s journey to democratization.

He says they also hope to highlight what he describes as extravagant expenditure by government institutions and seek solutions to the problems affecting the country.

Ssemuju says the rallies will be held starting from 7th and be crowned up with grand celebrations in Kawempe on 9th October.

Meanwhile, he also revealed plans to lead a procession to Entebbe Airport on September 29th to welcome back former FDC president Dr. Kizza Besigye from abroad.
