Former Cranes Stars Humble Barcelona Legends 5-3

Former Uganda Cranes Stars have humbled Barcelona legends with 5-3 goals in a friendly game played at Namboole stadium last evening.
The team of former Barcelona players is in the country for a charity tour and the match was meant to promote soccer talent and tourism in the country.
The Barcelona legends included Louis Garcia, Patrick Kluivert and Rayco Garcia, while the key names in the Uganda Cranes squad included FUFA CEO, Edgar Watson, Phillip Obwinyi, Abubaker Tabula and George Ssemwogerere and goal keeper Sadque Wasa among others.
In a related development government is asked to put in place a policy that will ensure that all schools have play grounds.
Former Barcelona Patrick Kluivert says the play grounds are very crucial for a child’s mental and physical development.
While meeting over 50 children supported by UNICEF in Kampala before the game, Kluivert also appealed to children in schools with play fields to always use them in order to stay fit and active in class.
