Five candidates vying for the Bukanga County MP seat have so far been nominated by the Electoral Commission.
The seat fell vacant following the death of Gregory Matovu, who died last month.
According to the district returning officer, Robert Twikirize, all the five candidates presented the required documents to be cleared to stand for the by election slated for November 26th.
Twikirize says one candidate was not nominated due to missing requirements.
The candidates will have November 14 to 24 to campaign as they wait for the Election Day. The constituency has a total of 61,001 registered voters and 135 polling stations.
